Accessibility Statement
At Degree Map, we are committed to providing an equal and accessible service to every visitor, including people with disabilities. We act in accordance with Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758–1998, and the accessibility regulations enacted under it.
Website accessibility
The site was made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines. Accessibility features include:
- Full keyboard navigation, including a “skip to content” link, closing dialogs with Escape, and focus management in dialogs.
- A proper heading structure, declared language and text direction, and semantic HTML elements.
- Text alternatives for visual elements, such as rating scales, for screen-reader users.
- Color contrast that meets the standard’s requirements and a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Support for the system preference to reduce motion (
prefers-reduced-motion). - Usability on mobile devices and at 200% browser zoom.
